What better way to honour a man of destiny than to give an award on his birthday. I was priviledged to be part of the University representatitives to grace the ocassion of the Award of the Fellowship of the Agricultural Society of Nigeria (FASN). One could not but be amazed as your citation was being read, even other felow awardeed could not hide their dumbfoundness. The award was received on his behalf by his better half, Professor (Mrs) Elizabeth Balogun. That the award was very unique is the fact that another man of destiny , the Deji of Akure, was conferred with the same award.
I wish you happy Birthday and Congratulations! for a well deserved award. May God's Grace and Mercies continue to shower upon you. A man whose word is his bond! A man given to passon, Excellence, Speed and Precision.
